In the event of the World Orthodontic Day, the department of Orthodontics ,MGPGIDS along with Jipmer, IGIDS,and SVDCH successfully conducted the smile rally programme, an initiative to create awareness about orthodontics to the public by the Indian Orthodontic Society.The symbolic flag of the INDIAN ORTHODONTIC SOCIETY which is rallying pan India was brought to Puducherry for the first time in history by DR Edinton and Dr Kannan of Madras Orthodontic study group and duly received by the DEAN , MGPGIDS , department faculty, Dr Madhan from Jipmer, Dr Aniruddh from IGIDS and faculty from SVDCH, Puducherry in our institute premises.
Students of MGPGIDS, Jipmer and SVDCH participated actively.
